COMMENTS:
Slow start to the week, second day in Adam caught his 37lb leather, amazing looking fish! Ryan also caught a 34lb Leather/mirror. From then on the fishing picked up a little, due to the weather being so hot we pulled our rods in for the day and ventured down to a beautiful place which we would call a lido which is called Lac Pardoux.
On the third night we ventured out on the boat on the lake, we then took our rods and bait to the far bank and dropped them a rod length from the bank, once we done this we baited small areas, this lead to Ryan bringing in 3 carp and Adam brang 2 carp.
So this is how we carried on throughout the week. We pre-baited during the day but only small amounts and continued to set the rods out in the late evening which was about 7 o’clock, whilst putting them in the same spots each time which again we continued throughout the whole week. Gary gave some great advise and was a great host, also gave some nice places to visit if it’s too hot to fish or you want to travel away from the lake for the day!
Gary was very accommodation with everyone in the group. Thank you very much to Gary will definitely be back again to try out the cabin. It’s a beautiful and relaxing place to be!
