Comments: Our first visit to Lodge Lakes was a great experience. The lake is brilliant with excellent fishing at times, at one point, we had 4 fish on the bank in 20 mins and broke some PBs. We only fishing during day 7.30am – 9pm (to F’ing cold to nite fish) It was a smashing week thanks to Gary, he’s a great host and smashing cook, make sure he doesn’t put cows tongue or rabbit on the menu. Cheers Gary for a great week and some stories, you made us laugh at times. We will be back….Mario: “Watch out for them sturgeon, great fighters, at 1 point Gary had to take me out on the boat and we nearly fell in. He ended up calling me a w!@ker and threatened to deck me but in the end pulled out a PB sturgeon..it was worth it!
