Catch Report and Comments:
Sat 20: Arrived about 14:00 fish spawning everywhere, it was baking hot so we decided to let the lake rest and after a 7 hr ferry and 5 hr drive we needed the rest too. We met Gary and sorted out baits etc He was really helpful with tactics and advice, the cabin is great too, about 6:00pm there was an amazing storm with thunder, lightning & rain (just what we need) with this in mind we set up our bivvies & rods and sat on the veranda tying rigs, drinking coffee and planning our attack for Sunday.
Sun 21: Fished all day to no avail. First run came at 10:30pm 38 lb Mirror a super fish put up a hell of a fight (Andy). 11:20pm had a run and hook pulled out (Andy), Midnight Dan had his first of 3 runs, I had another two, 02:00 Dan had a super fish on which gave him a battle only to loose it in the snags. Nothing more until 10:30 pm Mon evening 22 (Dan had a run & lost it. 1-2:00am 28 lb Mirror to Dan super fish.
Tue 23: Two runs each at 10:00 pm Nothing more that night.

- 18:32: 25 lb Mirror – Andy
- 19:00: 19 lb Mirror – Dan
Thurs 25:
- 13:09: 35 lb Mirror – Andy
- 18:00: 22 lb Mirror – Dan
Fri 26:
- 16:11: 33 lb Mirror – Andy
Lost 9 fish over the week.
Fishing was hard due to weather being changeable & two days of spawning. We didn’t fish while raining as we had two afternoons out sightseeing. The holiday was great and Gary too.
We will be back in the future.
