Comments:
Chris: “I came, I caught, and definitely conquered. Apart from a 40+. For any groups that come and get less than 1030lb in weight, just remember you’ve been beaten by one angler. Gaz is a ledge + a top host. Caught all the species in the lake to prove I am a top angler, now Hands deep in Pussy + Slaty Slags have gotta pull their fingers out you Noddy’s. To all, weigh sling zero’d before weighing fish!”
Wayne: “Thanks Gaz for another great weeks fishing, if any mediocre carp anglers need any tips you’ve got my number, my record speaks for itself. Dear blanker, I see your coming back, As we know you are a poor fisherman and I have seen no photos from your last visit (what a surprise). Yet again Tackle Tarts have set the standard for the year”. XXXX
Boxer: “My first time at Lodge Lakes has been a great experience with lots of quality fish. The 40+’s evaded me so I will be back for another shot at them. Thanks for being a good host and providing a first class fishing lake. Think we will draw pegs next time as Chris took up half the lake and smashed it. Also had the pleasure off seing a grass carp caught for the first time since I have been fishing. Just a pity Rory the Roach did not get me a big cat”.
Butcher: “As a rookie angler and new to carp fishing I have enjoyed my experience even though I didn’t fish full time like the others. 162lb of fish and a 34lb mirror are great motivation to improve that next time and to the previous weeks attempts, hang your heads in shame, you got beat by a bloke who slept, ate, s**t then fished. Time to retire. Many thanks to Gary for a ledge week and a good evening on the Thursday BBQ! See you in October. Tackle Tarts & A Yeti are back for more!
Rebooked forever……
Weather Conditions: Good sunny week, cold mornings.
