Our second visit to Lodge Lakes, & another fab week, weather fantastic but cold at night at the beginning of the week. All together we caught 29 carp & 4 sturgeon! 7-30’s, 17-20s, & 5 doubles. We all fished during the day, Joshua half heartedly (with help from us) as he was more interested in watching cbbc! I would have fished during the night but as it was so cold outside, I on the other-hand was far warmer in my sleeping bag & enjoying my sleep! I did however enjoy watching the wildlife, woody woodpecker, the hedgehog, & the snake chasing the frog. Also star gazing at night is fantastic. All in all we had a fantastic week, a shame we are not able to come next year due to us getting married, but have booked for 2012 for our anniversary & also 2013, 2014, 2015. See you then, the terrible 3! P.S Gary, what a brill idea to tag the fish, I’ve enjoyed scanning them & looking back to see if they have been caught b4 & if they put weight on. People keep recording…
